There are many visionaries or ‘evolutionaries’ as Barbara Marx Hubbard call them herself included who talk about the positive changes which can happen.
The book “The Golden Motorcycle Gang” by Jack Canfield and William Gladstone introduced me to the ‘Birth of Universal Humanity’ and there is going to be a ‘Global birthday party for this on the 21/12/2012 and everyone is invited.
When I read the book I got inspired to be part of spreading the news.
This is all about a ‘Shift in Consciousness’ which has been happening for a while and seems to be accelerating.
The Harmonic Convergence which happened in the late 80s created by José Argüelles was a big event and the Global Birthday is going to surpass it, especially if Jack Canfield’s vision of 10 Million or more people are participating in this Birth Day of the ‘New Earth’ and universal humanity.
I love the thought of being instrumental in this shift in consciousness, spreading the word, planting the seed, inspiring people to be part of it, facilitating the unlimited potential of humans to blossom, to help keeping the focus on love, joy, growth, enlightenment, spirituality, our Inner Potential.
This is the first of a series of blog posts to make information available to inspire people to be part of this shift and to help spread the word and celebrate the Birth Day of Universal Humanity.
There is a preliminary scenario of what the Birth Day could look like with meditations, dance, global broadcast, flash mobs and plenty more in the back of the book.

Hi Yorinda! Indeed, these are exciting times. I believe that we’re collectively shifting from fear into love and from ignorance into awareness. Space and time are collapsing rapidly to bring us closer together. In the coming days our dreams will manifest sooner — as long as our intentions are clear and aligned with the collective good. I feel blessed to be here during this phase of our evolution on this beautiful lil’ planet.

I’m not very familiar with all the lingo, or with the concept of “universal consciousness.” But I think the bottom line is that humans are able to get better and better on their own and that soon we can have everything we want, or something like that — how on track am I??
Personally, I’ll wait for Jesus to come and take us home to heaven, where there truly will be peace and harmony, and we can live up to our wildest dreams! “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” 1 Corinthians 2:9.

I have read some books and seen some websites that talk about this and yet I am still clueless as before encountering those terms. However, if the change in consciousness will bring a lot of positive things for us then why not embrace the idea?

As much as I hate to admit, I have not been familiar with Barbara Marx Hubbard’s work to this point, but rest assured that I will be changing that quickly. Fascinating! And what a visionary! She is truly an enlightened human being! I tend to go along with Peter Russell’s thinking that we shouldn’t expect anything major on the particular date of 12/22/2012, but rather that it is the peak of an actual astronomical cycle that we have been in for a number of years as our sun crosses the horizontal equator of our galaxy. I would refer you to a series of Peter Russell’s videos on YouTube that I find absolutely fascinating.

There is great significance on this time in humanity. We have multiple courses we could travel and I for one will support the growth of universal consciousness. There is so much good in our lives not to permit the evil and dark sides to influence us.

It is wonderful, but a bit scary how I (as an individual) started to feel the need of human (and spiritual) awakening at the end of last year. it all came from deep inside me, and NOT from the media. I believe that there are millions of people out there, experiencing the same thing, but not all of them are able to/willing to realize what it is all about. Thanks for this post, the trailer gave me goose bumps!

I think this will be a very interesting year. I like the way you said that what we focus on expands, I personally would like to see a world that reasses what it values. Instead of a world where we see the accumalation of bits of paper (known as money) as the most valuable thing someone could achieve, we start to highly value good relationships, kindness, love and joy.
I think like everyone else I’m intrigued, nervous, excited to see what happens come the 21st of December!

We live in such an interesting day and age. So much information is passed out in huge webs of people on the internet. it is quite an amazing phenomenon. The idea that we are going to have a Birth Day is quite astounding in its own right. And if we are having that in our lifetime, that is going to be an even more powerful idea. Shifting the mass consciousness and of individuals is not a small undertaking. This year is really going to be something spectacular.
