New Habits

Have you ever experienced feelings which you didn’t like very much.Begin a new day Sunrise

Something like:

  • Can’t be bothered
  • What’s the point
  • Just want to blob
  • Watch mindless TV shows
  • Want to ‘get out of it’ ‘get….’ all that addictive stuff
  • Want to sleep
  • Want to complain
  • Want to blame someone or something
  • Feel worthless, useless, no good for anything or anyone
  • Feel depressed
  • Feel frustrated with myself

Maybe the frustration was related to that before your felt this way, you felt that you were making headway.

Maybe your emotion where more on the positive end of the scale.

This can be annoying because it can feel so ‘heavy’ and at the time you may feel that you were doomed to feel this way ‘forever’, that you may as well give up trying, because it doesn’t work.

Hopefully alongside that feeling might have been a little voice that said:

  • It’s only temporary
  • Trust the process
  • You will get through this
  • Reach for better feeling thoughts (old voice: ‘yeah right’)
  • You have felt better and you can get there again
  • It’s ok to distract yourself, if that feels better
  • It’s all ok anyway
  • Sleep on it tomorrow will be better
  • It’s not real;

it’s just an old patterns.

The reason I am writing this is, because I experienced an example of that ‘this stuff doesn’t seem to work’ powerless feeling. And it is possible to think yourself out of it.

Since I am just like you having a human experience, I assume, actually I am 99.5 % sure that there are lots of other beings like me who go through similar phases in their life and I want to give them

  • Hope
  • Encouragement
  • Reassurance
  • Something to work with
  • Hang in there

When we reach for better feeling thoughts – we can change our lives.

You could write ‘wouldn’t it be nice if …. ‘ over and over to connect with better feeling thoughts.

Sure the old patterns(ego) will try and take over at times, but ultimately:

there is only one person that does the thinking in our own head,

and that is

the person wearing that head.

We can recognize old patterns and replace them with new habits [intlink id=”224″ type=”page”]thoughts[/intlink] we consciously think.

Good ideas – Doing something about them

Good IdeasDoing something about good ideas and turning them into abundance would be ideal.

Do you have times when ideas come into your head and you are excited about them?
But then ‘things happen’ and a while later you wonder what the idea was, or how come you didn’t do anything about it?

When I meditate in the morning I seem to have some interesting ideas come up.
Sometimes I write them down.

Even though they seem good ideas, most days I don’t do anything about them.
Does that mean the time is not right? Do I need to know what it means?

Humans are meaning making machines.

The time I spend thinking about ‘how come that…’ or ‘why is it…’ could be spend asking questions like:

  • How can I?
  • What would the best thing for me to do right now?
  • What do I have the most energy for?
  • What would I[intlink id=”224″ type=”page” target=”_blank”] feel good[/intlink] doing?

Ok, this applies for the days or times in my days that are free time for me to use.
I do know that when I feel good I am more likely to attract more of what I want into my life.
So, if I use my free time doing things that feel good then I am going to be more likely to work more efficiently on what I have to do.

The following quotes may explain this further in regard to abundance:

“The fastest way to get to an improved financial condition is to look for pleasing things that you already have,
for in the seeking and finding of that which is working, more success will come – and it will come quickly.” (p. 50)

“Anytime you are feeling good, no matter the reason, you are accomplishing the feeling of abundance:

Creating consciously


Choosing our thoughts deliberatelyWe consciously create, when we choose a thought and focus on that thought long enough so it creates a feeling, which when felt long enough equals a vibration.

The Law of Attraction responds to our vibration and then manifests it.

When we are not aware of our thoughts and feelings and just ‘automatically’ – by default – think and therefore feel, then the Law of Attraction responds to that and we get results which we didn’t consciously intent.

Some of these results may not be that pleasant, because our most practised thoughts and feelings may have been about things we did not want.

When one of those experiences has manifested we have the unwanted experiences as well as the thoughts and feelings that led up to it to deal with.

That would take a lot more effort than creating consciously in the first place.

So it does make sense to be aware of the thoughts we choose, the feelings we feel and/or the feelings we feel and then consciously choose thoughts which feel better.

It doesn’t really matter which comes first, what matters is how do we want to feel?

So deliberately choosing our thoughts and therefore creating our feeling leads to consciously creating.

Create awareness.

Is the Secret our Thinking?

Cloudy Manly beachThe Movie “The Secret” by Rhonda Byrne spread like wild Fire. In this movie many authors from different fields talk about they understand and have used/and use the secret and the Law of Attraction. Some of these authors are Bob Proctor, Jack Canfield, Dr Denis Waitley, Dr. John Demartini and Dr. Joe Vitale.

The wisdom of ‘the secret’ has been around. Charles Haanel (1866 -1949) wrote: “The vibration of mental forces are the finest and consequently the most powerful in existence.”

Each author appearing in the movie has their personal style and may appeal to different people at different times.

Some words may resonate with us, or even say something we may have heard in the past, but maybe this time it clicks.

Sometimes the most simplest message may be the hardest to understand.

One of those may be: ‘Ask and it is given’ as the Teachings of Abraham written about in several books by [intlink id=”84″ type=”page”]Esther and Jerry Hicks[/intlink] put it : “get clear on what you want and give your undivided attention to that” or “tell it like you want it to be”.

Just like the groove of our ‘unconscious thinking’ was created through [intlink id=”30″ type=”page”]repetition[/intlink], we can create a new groove through repetition. Maybe we read several books saying the ‘same’ thing with different words.

Just like we are encouraged to be mindful about what we feed our body, we could be benefiting from being aware of what we feed or mind. After all, or more to the point, before all, it is mind over matter.

Does that mean if you don’t mind it doesn’t matter? .. ? .. ?

What is the Secret? If you live a life you love, does it matter?

If you want to create the life you want to live, how can you shift gear?
